Ron Thomas Says Manual Ramos is Fired. PD Legally Can't Say.

Has Manual Ramos Seen His Last Days At FPD?

Last night during the opening reception of PÄS' protest show honoring the life of Kelly Thomas, Art With An Agenda, Ron Thomas reported to the attending audience that Officer Manual Ramos has been fired from Fullerton Police Department. Other officers, currently unnamed, are undergoing proceedings.

We called the police department and the receiving officer stated that the claim could not be confirmed due to protections in the Police Officer's Bill of Rights (POBOR). Additionally, because of the restraint, information could not be issued from the Fullerton Police Officers' Assosciation.

On a side note, If you didn't get a chance to see all of the pieces on display (or go at all), Art With An Agenda will be open to the public through the end of the month. 223 W. Santa Fe Ave. Fullerton, CA 92832

Update 7/25/2012: 3 officers involved in the KT Case (Jay Cicinelli, Manual Ramos, & Joe Wolfe) have been let go from the police department so far.
