Graves Advertising Plus and Helen Butler Graphics Join Creative Forces

Effective immediately, Helen Butler Graphics of La Habra and Graves Advertising Plus of Fullerton have merged to become North Orange County’s largest advertising agency; last year, Graves Communications and Advertising Plus CEOs, Gary Graves and Myra Lookabill, combined interests. For now, the agency name will operate as Graves Advertising Plus.

About the Principals

Gary Graves, principal/CEO, originally started Graves Communications in 1999 and has a Master of Science in business administration with an emphasis in marketing and technology management. Graves’ expertise is in integrating proven marketing techniques with current technologies, such as e-mail marketing and personalized direct mail. Graves has successfully worked with small businesses, credit unions, chambers of commerce, financial service companies, political candidates and nonprofit organizations to implement their advertising strategies. Graves Communications was named Small Business of the Year in 2006 by the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce.

Myra Lookabill, principal/COO, began Advertising Plus in 1982 where she designed and created a variety of marketing and public relations materials for the insurance and financial industries. Lookabill brings high-level experience in producing video for online, TV commercials, radio advertising, as well as successful public relations, e-mail and print advertising. Lookabill is one of the founding members of the OC Direct Marketing Association. She will lead the account management teams to work with clients on their marketing planning and execution.

Helen Butler, principal/CCD, originally started “The Butler Did It” in 1981 and later changed to Helen Butler Graphics where she is known for high-quality design, personalized service and professional execution of client marketing. Well known in North Orange County, Butler has designed magazines, books, newsletters, logos, websites, business cards, letterheads and any other items needed to help her clients remain competitive and on the cutting edge of marketing communications. Butler has led classes on social media and organic marketing to local groups, businesses and one-on-one with CEOs. Helen will lead the creative team as the chief creative director.
