Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected in a sexual assault that occurred near the Fullerton College campus last month.
Fullerton Police Sgt. Andrew Goodrich said that at about 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 12, a female victim had parked her car in the area of Berkeley and Hornet, just north of Fullerton College. She was walking to the campus when she was approached by a suspect from behind and sexually assaulted. The suspect reached under the victim’s skirt and forcefully grabbed her buttocks and genital area. The suspect then walked past the victim, made eye contact with her, and continued walking.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 22-29 years old, 5-7 to 5-9, 150-165 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. An artist’s sketch of the suspect was recently completed. Detectives believe that the suspect is a Fullerton College student.
Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to call Detective Ron Bair at (714) 738-6762, or the front desk at (714) 738-6716.
