The highly anticipated Fullerton Shadows Festival arrives with plenty of bone chilling entertainment and revelry. Presented by the Muckenthaler Cultural Center and Fullerton’s theatre community, the Fullerton Shadows Festival is the month-long celebration of the supernatural theme of horror, mystery and science fiction. There will be an exclusive production of Edgar Allan Poe’s famous stories, a world premiere musical based on Charlotte Bronte’s haunting tale, Jane Eyre, and a silent film event at the Plummer featuring the Phantom Of The Opera (1925), where the experience of a night at the movie palace during Hollywood’s Golden Age is stunningly recreated. Frankenstein, The Woman In Black, and a hilarious production of A Midsummer Night’s Scream bring further excitement to a jam-packed month of entertainment. There will be over 120 events in the festival program including movies at the Fox, theatre and silent films at the Plummer, magic and music at the Muckenthaler, and theatre in eight venues across the city.
